We are looking for a part-time assistant stylist. The ideal candidate needs to be hard working, enthusiastic, has an outgoing personality & is eager to learn.

The Stylist Assistant will have the opportunity to assist on-location (bridal, TV, seminars, hair shows, etc.). An outgoing personality and great networking skills are a MUST. May be required to attend industry events with Kendra.

Responsibilities/Skills:Open salon and start on clients (occassionally)Shampooing clients - MUST BE GOOD!! :-)Assisting Kendra in performing hairstyling and color servicesPrepping clients before chemical servicesBlowdrying/prepping for the dryerBraiding/TakedownRemoving extensionsThreading needlesAttend all training classesShow proactive interest in creating our '5 STAR Client Experience'Maintain salon working areas in a clean, sanitary and orderly standardAssist with light reception dutiesBasic writing skills are needed. Required to update Facebook, Twiter, blog & newsletterComply with all standards, policies and work rules
